Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
A wide variety of restaurants fill the Northglenn community. If you're in the mood for Vietnamese cuisine, Saigon Basil is a favored establishment in the area. Enjoy dishes such as fire rocket shrimp, pho, and hot and spicy beef soup.
Cinzzetti's is the Italian restaurant you don't want to miss. Dine in for weekend brunch or dinner daily. They boast an all-you-can-eat Italian feast, with a buffet line filled with various salads, calamari fritti, lasagna bolognese, eggplant parmesan, Tuscan-spiced chicken, and more. This highly-rated establishment will make you feel like you're inside a Tuscan village with how it's designed.
When you're craving pizza, Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse is the go-to spot in town. They have a wide selection of craft beers on tap as well as several cocktails and wine choices. Parmesan fries, parm bites, and Pepitone's prized pickles are some of their favored appetizers, while a variety of pizza choices and calzones make up the majority of the entrees.
Many make the short drive to Westminster to peruse the aisles within the shopping center there. The Orchard Town Center is a top entertainment destination, with a multiplex cinema on site and an assortment of restaurants and stores.
Things to Do
Croke Reservoir is a gorgeous sight to behold in Northglenn. Walk around the water to take it all in, or sit and enjoy some fishing time. Many birds and animals call the place home, giving you an up-close view of them on any given day.
E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park also provides a spot to get out on the water. Pedal boat rentals are available. There are also athletic fields, green spaces, play areas, and a skatepark. It's a top spot for residents of Northglenn to visit.
Bill Goodspeed Happy Tails Dog Park is where you can take your canine companion for some fun. It spans 10 acres, giving your dog plenty of space to run and play. Sports facilities are nearby at Jaycee Ballfield, and there is a water fountain, shade structure, and picnic area within the dog park.
There is no shortage of events to attend in the city. Many neighbors gather at the various community events held throughout the year, including Safe Street Halloween, Dancing Through the Decades, Bubble Fest, and the popular Pirate Festival. The city also hosts wiffleball tournaments, a teddy bear picnic, Derby Day, a food truck carnival, and a separate summer concert and movie series.
