The LoHi Highlands neighborhood was originally its own town, Highlands, where the wealthy of Denver moved to overlook the city. By 1896, however, it had been incorporated into the greater City of Denver and soon after saw an influx of new residents.
Today the LoHi Highlands area is known for its great views of the Denver skyline as well as its convenience and close proximity to Riverfront Park, Downtown Denver, and the Mile High Stadium. LoHi and Highlands also have their own commercial side, with bustling coffee houses, boutiques, restaurants, and retailers available for quick access by residents.
