Many dining establishments fill the area, giving you plenty of opportunities to find the ideal cuisine for your tastes. Copper Rail Bar & Grill is the ideal spot for dinner and drinks. Enjoy a game on TV as you dine on delicious offerings of fried mushrooms, mac and cheese bites, Asian chicken salad, a bison burger, a Reuben sandwich, or cajun shrimp pasta. 
 
Kikos Authentic Mexican Food is a favored selection in town if you prefer authentic Mexican cuisine. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, or you can choose from some popular menu items like their carne asada, Patrick's fiesta salad, chili Relleno con Carne, huevos rancheros, or breakfast burritos. 
 
When you're in the mood for German cuisine, Lauer Krauts is a family-owned restaurant worth trying. They're well-liked for their krautberger, special soup, and dessert of the day that's always changing. Their German coffee cake, called Rival Kouga, is made with a variety of fruit flavors. 
 
The Prairie Center Shopping Center is one of the more popular places to shop in Brighton. The mall features many familiar merchants as well as boutique stores. They also offer sit-down restaurants and counter-serve options. 

Things to Do

Riverdale Golf Courses provide two 18-hole courses for your enjoyment. The Dunes course winds around the South Platte River and provides a serene yet challenging excursion. Colorado Golfer Newspaper called it the number one choice for public courses in the entire state. The Knolls course is crisscrossed by canals and offers an even more challenging design. You can get a golf lesson to improve your game, join a tournament, or enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant.
 
You won't want to miss the many community events in town, either. Barktober Fest is fun for dog owners, while the Eye for Art summer and winter showcases are intended for creative minds. A tree lighting ceremony takes place in December to mark the start of the holiday season, while the Festival of Lights gives you something to do throughout it. 
 
Benedict Park is one of the best in town. Plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities abound here. There's something for every age group, with disc golf, skating, soccer fields, a splash pad, and a picnic area all available. Barr Lake State Park is even more worthwhile. With gorgeous views provided by this scenic landscape that spans for miles, you can enjoy a tranquil time walking trails, fishing, birdwatching, boating, or visiting the on-site nature center. 
 
Brighton City Museum is also a possibility if you enjoy history. The museum only got its start in 2016 and is expected to grow. A core exhibit is center stage, while other exhibits interchange. More than 10,000 items are on display at any given time.
