Neighborhood Profile
Platt Park officially became a part of Denver in 1886. Named after local businessman and Civil War Colonel James Platt, it’s managed to maintain its charming and authentic atmosphere throughout the years. With its seasonal Farmer’s Market, Friday Art Walks, Antique Row (featuring several hundred antique dealers), and historic tree lined streets the Platt Park neighborhood offers the best small-town living within the city. While it feels more relaxed here than in the city center, modern lite rail and RTD services make commuting into the heart of Denver a breeze.
